So far, all except three photos on this site were taken by either my wife or me. My brother-in-law recently showed me several photos from his 1964 trip to Alaska—these are worth posting. Here is what he said about the first photo:
Train station Lake Bennett 1964. It was fully operational then with several freights and a few passenger cars each day. We were poor and walked the tracks from Carcross to Skagway. You have heard the story. The extension to the left of center housed the dining room where we happily took a meal.
